Job summary

Workline Private Limited in Mumbai is seeking an actuarial professional to own IVNB reporting, with a focus on actuarial cash flows and insights for internal stakeholders and shareholders.

You will analyze VNB movements, support decision making, test models, and help automate processes using Power BI, Excel, and VBA while ensuring governance and documentation. A minimum of 2+ years experience and 5 actuarial papers cleared are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of actuarial experience.
• Strong understanding of actuarial cash flows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate IVNB reporting with strong attention to detail and adherence to controls.
• Analyze VNB movements against plan and prior periods, highlighting key drivers.
• Perform sensitivities and analysis to support management input and decision-making.
• Participate in testing of actuarial models and releases, providing structured feedback to the modelling team.
• Respond to internal, financial, and regulatory (IRDAI) queries with clear analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation (Power BI, Excel, VBA) and support dashboards reconciliation.
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks, project work, and new product/model testing within defined timelines.
• Maintain proper documentation, checklists, and governance standards.

• Participate in testing of actuarial models and releases, providing structured feedback to the modelling team


• Help respond to internal, financial, and regulatory (IRDAI) queries with clear and well-documented analysis


• Contribute to process improvements and automation (Power BI, Excel, VBA) and support development of reconciliation dashboards


• Assist in ad-hoc tasks, project work, and new product/model testing within defined timelines


• Maintain proper documentation, checklists, and governance standards to ensure process consistency and transparency
