Job summary

MetLife is seeking an actuarial production specialist to execute runs across multiple models (Cash Flow Testing, Embedded Value, GAAP, Statutory reserves, RBC, Economic Capital) and support reporting with accuracy and timeliness.

You will monitor processes, update documentation, provide training, ensure controls and compliance, and assist in preparing results for stakeholders. Additionally, drive automation with Python and use AI tools with human review.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of actuarial reporting processes and controls.
• Experience using Python for automation in actuarial tasks.
• Familiarity with AI tools and applying them with human review.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute production runs across actuarial models (Cash Flow Testing, Embedded Value, GAAP, Statutory reserves, RBC, Economic Capital).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update documentation related to production processes and model runs.

• Execute production runs for actuarial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production processes, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain and update documentation related to production processes and model runs.
• Provide support and training to team members on production processes and tools as needed
• Ensure that all actuarial processes include appropriate controls and comply with regulatory and company standards.
• Assist in the preparation of results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements using automation tools such as Python to enhance efficiency, accuracy, scalability and control.
• Use approved AI tools in day-to-day activities to support analysis, documentation, quality checks and stakeholder communication, with appropriate human review.
• Identify, assess and deliver opportunities to automate or transform business-as-usual activities using AI, reducing manual effort, improving turnaround times and strengthening process quality.
• Actively engage with business partners across the organization to improve our production processes
• Key Contributor on making overall modelling work Agile

Advantageous Skills And Experience

• An understanding of actuarial reporting software such as Prophet,Polysystems
• Knowledge of other modelling platforms including MG ALFA, MoSeS, Pathwise
• Knowledge of programming in Python, VBA or other mainstream languages
