Job summary

ORACLE POLYPLAST in Thane is seeking an experienced Accounts & Finance Head to lead a 7–10 member finance team, ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and smooth audits. Expertise in IndAS, ROC compliances, GST and Income Tax is essential.

The role requires strong ERP proficiency, advanced MS applications, and a proven ability to consolidate group accounts, manage MIS reporting, and drive strategic financial decisions for the company.

Qualifications

• Strong numeric and analytical abilities for financial planning and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English/Hindi.
• Proven leadership of a multi-member finance team.
• Deep knowledge of IndAS, ROC filings, GST and income tax.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (Tally, BUSY or similar).
• Ability to manage audits and ensure statutory compliance across entities.
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and related tools.
• Experience with consolidation of group company accounts.
• Knowledge of banking facilities and financial negotiations.
• Ability to prepare MIS reports and drive strategic decisions.
• Capability to finalize accounts quarterly and yearly.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in both English and Hindi for clear communication.
• Experience overseeing group-wide statutory compliance and tax matters.
• Proven track record of leading process improvements in finance.
• Experience coordinating with auditors and statutory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a 7–10 member accounts team with clear accountability.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and timely statutory compliances.
• Oversee IndAS implementation and ROC filings for the group.
• Manage audits, including quarterly and yearly finalisation processes.
• Drive ERP usage and maintain robust MIS reporting.
• Oversee consolidation of group accounts and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate banking activities and credit facilities as needed.
• Monitor cash flow, taxation planning, and compliance controls.
• Prepare budgets, variance analyses, and financial forecasts.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
• Develop and enforce internal controls and audit trails.
• Lead negotiations with vendors and financial partners.
• Mentor and develop finance staff for capability building.
• Ensure accuracy of statutory financial statements and disclosures.
• Respond to regulatory changes impacting financial reporting.
• Communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
