Qualifications

• 5–7 years of overall experience in database/DevOps roles.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on DBA experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of relational database technologies.
• Strong understanding of relational database technologies.
• Expertise in SQL Server 2025 and SSIS.
• Strong hands‑on experience with T‑SQL and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with database migration tools.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases in production and non-production environments.
• Design, implement, and manage automated backup pipelines for distributed SQL Server instances.
• Automate SQL Server operational and repetitive tasks using T-SQL and PowerShell.
• Integrate SQL Server health metrics, monitoring, and backup status into centralized dashboards
• Participate in the design and implementation of new database programs or enhancements
• Support database migrations using industry‑standard migration tools
• Work within multi‑tier, distributed enterprise architecture environments
• Participate in functional test planning and execution for assigned applications and projects
• Ensure database reliability, security, performance tuning, and availability
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
