Job summary

GOEEN is seeking an experienced automotive painter in India to prepare surfaces, mix paint, and apply primer, base coat and clear coat with precision. The role requires sanding, masking, cleaning, priming, and final inspection to ensure a high-quality finish.

The ideal candidate has ITI or vocational certification in automotive painting or auto body repair, 2–5 years of spray painting experience, and knowledge of diverse paints and coatings. Safety and booth cleanliness are essential.

Qualifications

• ITI / Vocational certification in Automotive Painting or Auto Body Repair.
• 2–5 years of experience in automobile spray painting (preferred).
• Knowledge of different types of automotive paints and coatings.
• Ability to operate spray painting tools and air compressors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming.
• Mix and match paint colors to manufacturer specifications.
• Operate spray guns and other painting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat evenly and accurately.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups if required.
• Polish and buff painted surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Maintain cleanliness of paint booth and equipment.
