Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient transfer of crude oil and other cargo between ship and shore by managing cargo operations with relevant teams, adhering to safety standards.
• Carry out inspections of mooring system, manifold arrangement and related safety checks during cargo operations.
• Maintain effective communication between vessel, tug and shore and monitor SPM position.
• Monitor hourly cargo figures and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor training and validation of hose crew.

Job Responsibilities

• Purpose of the Role - To ensure safe and efficient transfer of crude oil and other cargo between ship and shore by managing the cargo operations in coordination with relevant teams, while adhering to safety standards as per the established regulations & guidelines

  • Conduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Keep self abreast with leading practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures
• Boarding Operations -
  • Carry out inspection of mooring system, manifold arrangement for safe operation on boarding the vessel at SPM Carry out securing of pull back tug and SPM chafe chain and provide accurate distance to pilot while berthing at SPM-
  • Perform periodic checks during cargo operation based on ship shore safety check list, carry out bunker check and inspection of crafts
  • Maintain effective communication between vessel, pull back tug and shore and monitor SPM position accordingly
  • Monitor and reconcile hourly cargo figure.
  • Monitor training and validation of hose crew

Education Requirement

• Necessary: - A bachelors degree or equivalent /Navy experience with diving qualification

Experience Requirement

• Necessary:- 0-2 years of experience as diver at SPM facility or previous experience at other ports or navy experience of working on ships and as diver
• Should have completed four basic STCW courses
• Desired:
