Job summary

Vrac Global Services in Noida is seeking an experienced ServiceNow SPM Developer to configure, implement, and continuously enhance the SPM platform. You will align portfolio, project, and demand management objectives with technical solutions and business needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and development.
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow SPM / Strategic Portfolio Management modules.
• Experience with Demand Management, PPM, Resource Management, Portfolio Planning and Idea Management.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and support ServiceNow SPM applications for Demand, Portfolio, Project, Resource, and Idea Management.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional/technical ServiceNow solutions.
• Design and implement workflows, forms, rules, UI policies, client scripts, notifications, and automation aligned with SPM best practices.
• Assist with data models, hierarchies, scoring, prioritization, and portfolio structures.
• Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems as needed.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and issue troubleshooting for SPM functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve process efficiency, reporting, dashboards, and visibility across portfolios and projects.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, testing, and release activities.

Role Overview

An experienced ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) Developer is needed to support the configuration, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the ServiceNow SPM platform. The role works closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to deliver scalable solutions aligned with portfolio, project, and demand management objectives.

The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and business-savvy, with the ability to translate requirements into effective ServiceNow configurations and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and support ServiceNow SPM applications for Demand Management, Portfolio Management, Project Management, Resource Management, Idea Management and Agile / PPM-related capabilities as applicable.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical ServiceNow solutions.
• Design and implement workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, notifications, and automation aligned with SPM best practices.
• Support configuration of SPM data models, hierarchies, scoring, prioritization, and portfolio structures.
• Develop and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide production support for SPM-related functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve process efficiency, reporting, dashboards, and visibility across portfolios and projects.
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, testing, and release activities.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
• Work with T.EN ServiceNow Platform administrators and architect to ensure platform standards and governance are maintained.
• Recommend enhancements and best practices to optimize ServiceNow SPM adoption and performance.
• Assist with data quality, migration, and validation efforts related to SPM records and structures.
• Support end users and provide knowledge transfer and training when needed.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and development.
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow SPM / Strategic Portfolio Management modules.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, Portfolio Planning and Idea Management.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow components such as tables and forms, Flow Designer / workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow data structures and platform administration fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze business processes and convert them into technical requirements.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or project delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist Strategic Portfolio Management, or related ServiceNow certifications.
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, testing, and release management.
• Knowledge of integration methods such as REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
• Experience with reporting tools, performance analytics, or executive dashboards.
• Familiarity with enterprise portfolio, project, and resource planning processes.
• Experience in consulting, advisory, or client-facing delivery roles.
