Job summary

Spintek Cnc Services India pvt.ltd is seeking a mechanical technician to dismantle, inspect, repair and reassemble CNC spindle systems. You will verify runout, perform bearing work, and ensure quality documentation. On-site support for installation and commissioning may be required.

Candidate should hold ITI/Diploma/BE in Mechanical and be willing to travel to customer sites for troubleshooting and testing. Safety and quality procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/BE in Mechanical or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and assemble CNC machine spindles as per technical specifications and procedures.
• Inspect spindle components including bearings, shafts, housings, drawbars, spacers, seals, and motor components.
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults in CNC spindle assemblies.
• Perform spindle repair, rebuilding, bearing replacement, and component restoration.
• Measure and verify runout, dimensions, clearances, preload, and alignment using precision instruments.
• Assist in spindle bearing installation, heating, mounting, and preload setting.
• Perform spindle motor inspection, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
• Conduct balancing and dynamic testing of spindle components when required.
• Carry out spindle assembly according to defined quality and technical standards.
• Perform spindle testing and trial runs after repair to verify performance.
• Check parameters such as vibration, temperature, noise, runout, and RPM during final testing.
• Maintain service reports, inspection records, and repair documentation.
• Ensure proper handling, cleanliness, lubrication, and storage of precision spindle components.
• Follow all safety, quality, and workshop procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers and service teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of repaired spindles at customer sites as required.
