Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise daily operations of the Speech & Language Therapy Department.

• Oversee collaboration with OTs, psychologists, behavior therapists, and pediatricians.
• Perform diagnostic assessments for developmental delays and related disorders.
• Formulate individualized intervention plans and supervise therapy sessions.
• Train and evaluate junior staff and interns.

Job description

• We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and visionary Speech & Language Pathologist to lead our Speech and Language Department as the Head of Department (HOD).
• In this clinical and leadership role, you will oversee clinical operations, drive evidence-based pediatric rehabilitation programs, mentor team members, and manage complex cases in speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Clinical Leadership & Operations:
• Lead, manage, and supervise the daily operations of the Speech & Language Therapy Department.
• Establish standardized clinical protocols, quality standards, and evidence-based treatment practices.
• Oversee interdisciplinary collaboration with Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Behavioral Therapists, and Developmental Pediatricians.
• Diagnostic & Clinical Care:
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments and evaluations for children with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy, stammering/fluency disorders, motor speech disorders, and feeding/swallowing difficulties.
• Formulate individualized, goal-oriented intervention plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Conduct direct individual and group therapy sessions for complex or high-priority cases.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate junior speech therapists, clinical interns, and support staff.
• Organize regular clinical case discussions, peer reviews, and continuing education programs within the department.
• Parent Guidance & Advocacy:
• Provide compassionate counseling and guidance to parents and caregivers regarding home-based management and therapeutic strategies.
• Conduct parental workshops and community awareness programs on early intervention and child development.
