Job summary

AT&T in Bengaluru seeks an offshore lead for load testing and test tool support. You will oversee performance testing, traffic generation, and automation platforms to meet testing demands across labs and production.

The role requires coordinating with US, Europe and India teams, triaging issues, and driving efficiency through automation. You will mentor teams, monitor tool health, and ensure 24x7 coverage with follow-the-sun handoffs.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as offshore lead for load testing and test tool operational support activities.
• Provide technical support for certification, regression, performance, and service validation activities utilizing AT&T-approved testing platforms.
• Ensure load generation, traffic simulation, performance testing, and automation platforms are available, configured, and operational to support testing demands.
• Perform troubleshooting, triage, and resolution of tool, environment, infrastructure, and platform issues impacting testing activities.
• Coordinate with testing teams, NF owners, project teams, vendors, lab operations, automation teams, and onshore counterparts to resolve support requests and operational issues.
• Support onboarding, enablement, and adoption of testing tools, automation platforms, and operational processes.
• Monitor tool health, platform performance, capacity utilization, and operational readiness across lab and production environments.
• Manage and prioritize support requests, incidents, defects, and enhancement activities to ensure timely resolution and service continuity.
• Support software upgrades, patching, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of testing platforms and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure operational procedures, documentation, knowledge articles, and support processes remain current, accurate, and effective.
• Drive automation-first operational practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and self-service capabilities.
• Provide status reporting, operational metrics, risk assessments, and escalation management to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support 24x7 operations through follow-the-sun coordination and structured handoffs across three global regions: US, Europe, and India.
• Partner with vendors and internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Support capacity planning, benchmarking, performance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives for testing and simulation platforms.

Job Qualifications / Required Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating complex testing, operational support, or platform support activities.
• Strong understanding of automation-first testing and operational practices.
• Experience supporting load testing, performance testing, traffic generation, or testing tools.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate operational, project, and management needs.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
• Expertise in Jira for defect, project, and operational workflow management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of LTE, 5G NSA, and 5G SA architectures and end-to-end call flows.
• Expert knowledge of Voice, Messaging, VoLTE, VoWiFi, IR92, IR94, WPS, RTT, HTTP, N11, and related mobility services.
• Experience supporting certification, regression, service validation, or performance testing activities.
• Experience supporting lab and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with load generation and testing platforms such as LoadCore, Landslide, Spirent, CyPerf, RealUE, or similar solutions.
• Experience supporting a 24x7 operational support model.
• Experience working within onshore and offshore delivery organizations.
• Experience supporting software upgrades, patching, infrastructure lifecycle management, and operational readiness activities.
• Familiarity with Linux, virtualization, Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and telecom lab infrastructure.
• Experience with automation frameworks, AI-assisted operations, and performance analytics platforms

Additional Job Information

This is an offshore role that requires daily collaboration with U.S. stakeholders, including overlapping work hours to ensure effective partnership and meet business needs.
