Job summary

Societe Generale is seeking a senior Java developer with deep expertise in J2EE, Spring, and BigData to design and build scalable backend services. The role requires strong OO analysis/design skills, design patterns, and experience with Agile workflows.

You will work on RESTful services, ensure robust unit testing (TDD/BDD), and collaborate with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, while leveraging UNIX and shell scripting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ years of experience in design principles & patterns, development, review.
• Strong Java stack experience: J2EE, Core Java, Spring, Springboot, Hibernate.
• Experience in BigData technologies and REST services.
• Solid OO analysis & design knowledge, design patterns, and Agile methods.
• Proficiency with Oracle; exposure to PostgreSQL; experience with unit testing (TDD/BDD).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Should have good level of expertise in development in Java stack (J2EE, Core Java, Spring, Springboot, Hibernate
• Should have good level of expertise in working with UNIX and Shell scripting
• Should have good level of expertise in working on Rest services

Strong experience of working on BigData technologies

• Strong knowledge in OOA (Object Oriented Analysis) & OOD (Object Oriented Design), J2EE Design Patterns
• Strong experience in Agile methodologies
• Expertise with Oracle and exposure to PostgreSQL

Profile required
