Job summary

Société Générale is seeking an experienced Software Test Automation engineer in India with 4-6 years of hands-on automation experience. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests using Selenium/Python and UFT frameworks, and develop test scripts from requirements to simulate real user workflows.

The role requires strong Python/Pytest skills, API testing knowledge, and a proactive mindset to improve test frameworks while adhering to DevOps and Agile practices in a banking domain

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics with excellent academic track record.
• 4-6 years of experience in Software Test Automation.
• Strong expertise on test automation tool- Selenium.
• At least one-year hands on experience in Python/Pytest framework.
• Knowledge on API tests automation.
• Experience in building functional test cases based on requirements, specifications and user documentation.
• Aspiration to learn and acquire functional knowledge on the applications that we work on.
• Basic knowledge on Banking domain.
• Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge on various test case design techniques and testing methodologies
