Job summary

Nordex SE is seeking an experienced test engineer for power electronics and automated testing. You will define test procedures for converters, develop automated tests, and run campaigns on Main Power Converter, Pitch and Yaw systems. Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and FPGA-based HiL modeling is valued.

Experience with Dspace/EXAM and test management tools (JIRA, Confluence) will help optimize validation workflows; strong documentation in Teamcenter is expected.

Qualifications

• B.Tech – Electrical and Electronics/related field and M.Tech in Power Electronics/Control Systems.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in power electronics/test automation.
• Experience with Dspace, EXAM or similar automation testing/validation tools is an advantage.
• Python/Java – added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements of power electronic converters and define test procedures.
• Develop, test and maintain automated tests in EXAM test automation software.
• Conduct test campaigns and analyze results for Main Power Converter, Pitch and Yaw.
• Implement MATLAB Simulink models, FPGA-based HiL models, and Stateflow/state machine models.
• Prepare quality reports, SOPs and document maintenance in Teamcenter.
• Interact with test management tools (JIRA, Confluence with plugins) to ensure test quality and efficiency.
• Leverage JIRA/X-ray/Confluence APIs for automation and data exchange.

Job description

• Understand the requirements of power electronic converters and specify the test procedure.
• Develop, testing and maintenance of automated tests in EXAM test automation software.
• Perform test campaigns and analysis of the test results for Main Power Converter, Pitch and Yaw.
• Hand‑on experience in implementing mathematical model in MATLAB Simulink, FPGA based MATLAB model (with any real-time HiL) and able to develop State flow and state machine model for the system.
• Preparation of quality reports, SOP's and maintenance of documents in Teamcenter.
• To deal with different Test management tools (JIRA, Confluence, and various plug‑ins) that are interfaced with the HiL test bench to ensure quality of the tests and to ease the process efficiently.
• Utilize and integrate JIRA, X‑ray, and Confluence tools, leveraging API knowledge for automation and data exchange.

Your Profile:

• B. Tech – Electrical and electronics engineering, M. Tech (power electronics/control systems)
• 3 – 4 years relevant experience.
• Dspace , EXAM (or) similar automation testing and validation tool,– added advantage.
