Job summary

Magna Powertrain in Bengaluru is seeking a Specialist Project Manager, Software/Electrical, to lead software/electrical engineering projects across driveline systems including EV and AWD/4WD. You will translate project requirements into objectives, manage scheduling, budgeting, and resolve design/test problems with strong analytical ability.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop resource plans, coordinate with departments, manage project changes, and report costs.

Qualifications

• BE in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• PMP Certification or Equivalent is required.
• 5–7 years of work experience in engineering roles.
• Experience in electrical systems or components; knowledge of traction inverters and/or eMotor design is preferred.

The Project Manager will translate projectrequirements into project objectives and tasks. They are responsible for managing and leading the activities concerned with Software/Electrical technical developments, scheduling, budgeting, and resolving engineering design and test problems within their responsible projects. This rolerequires strong analytical and technical abilities while demonstrating fast, but carefully thought-out results.
