Job summary

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune, India, is seeking a PLM data management engineer to lead engineering data roadmap and master data governance. The role involves maintaining master data, wiring CAD/PLM/ERP tools integration, and coordinating with external partners to improve data quality.

The candidate will manage data from Windchill to InforLN ERP, support standardization efforts, and contribute to data audits and PLM customization. 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Mechatronics/Data Science or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop & execute engineering data roadmap (CAD/PDM/PLM/ERP tools).
• Create and maintain Master data and Parts lists.
• Monitor Master Data Quality and ensure accuracy.
• Transfer data from Windchill to InforLN ERP.
• Coordinate with external partners on engineering data solutions.
• Automate key engineering processes (ECN, drawing approvals, templates).
• Participate in data audits and PLM/PDM customization.

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Data Science, or related fields.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop & Execute engineering data roadmap comprising CAD/PDM/PLM/ERP tools
• Creation & Maintenance of Master data & Parts lists
• Monitoring of Master Data Quality
• Implementation of changes from assembly groups in ERP system and the feature database
• Classification of different parts
• Supports for common rules & configuration in division
• Management of documents and numbering system
• Transfer of data from Windchill to InforLN ERP.
• Coordination with external partners driving technology solution for engineering data management
• Simplify standardise and automate key engineering process including ECN, Drawing approvals, Drawing templates and integrate them with in engineering systems.
• Participate in data audits
• Responsible for PLM/PDM customization.

Experience

3-5 years’ experience in similar role.
