Job summary

Novonesis in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks a Specialist - Label Development to lead label design using Loftware Spectrum and Nice Label, manage artwork with Smartflow, and Python scripting to create dynamic labels. You will link data sources to new labels and set up printers (Intermec, Zebra, Sato) while ensuring accuracy across packaging labels and warehouse operations.

The role requires 8 years in label design, printer setup, SQL knowledge, VBA, Python, and data modelling.

Qualifications

• You should have a B.Tech or bachelor’s degree.
• Must have around 8 years of experience in label design & printer setup in Nice Label/Loftware.
• Must be able to create a new label in Loftware/Nice Label by linking to different data sources.
• Must be able to setup new printers (Intermec, Zebra, Sato) & troubleshoot printer issues.
• Must have handled projects related to packaging & labelling.
• Knowledge on scanners and warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of SQL database.
• Knowledge of VBA coding.
• Knowledge of Python scripting.
• Data modelling skills.
• Preferably experience with any graphical design tool.
• Ability to translate user requirements into technical design.
• Preferably knowledge of SAP SD module.
• Must be willing to work as an individual contributor.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently while collaborating with global colleagues across the world.
• Must be willing to travel and have a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Label design, creating dynamic labels using Python scripting.
• Managing the label setup in Loftware, configuration and maintenance of enterprise-wide labelling solutions.
• Troubleshooting issues related to labels & label printers.
• Maintaining label master data, SQL tables and related data.
• Evaluating the label change requests & new label creation requests.
• Monitoring the label master data setup to avoid issues and suggest maintenance.
• Setting up of label scanners and troubleshooting scanner issues.
• Work with business stakeholders from packaging, regulatory, supply chain, others and translate needs into tangible requirements.

• Responsible for managing the Label setup in Loftware, configuration and Maintenance of Enterprise-wide labelling solutions
• Responsible for troubleshooting issues related to Labels & Label printers
• Responsible for maintaining Label Master data, SQL tables and related data
• Responsible for evaluating the label change request & new label create request
• Responsible for monitoring the label master data setup to avoid possible issues proactively and suggest maintenance.
• Responsible for setting up of Label scanners and troubleshooting of Scanner issues
• Ability to work with business stakeholders from packaging team, regulatory, Supply chain, others and translate needs into tangible requirements.
