Genpact is seeking a Specialist - Insurance - P&C Underwriting in India to review and adjudicate claims, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance. The role involves collaboration with clients, providers, and internal teams for timely status updates and issue resolution.

Applicants should have actuarial, economics, finance, or risk management backgrounds with strong underwriting knowledge. A hybrid work model and an evening shift in India are offered to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree fields relevant to insurance underwriting and risk management.
• Advanced degree in statistics or actuarial science is a plus.
• Professional certifications in underwriting or risk management are beneficial.

• Process and adjudicate claims within defined turnaround times, ensuring compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Communicate with clients, providers, and internal teams to provide claim status updates and resolve basic queries.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of claims processed to support compliance and reporting requirements.
• Support team workflows by collaborating with peers and other departments for smooth claim processing operations.
• Participate in process training and knowledge-sharing sessions to build domain expertise and improve accuracy.
