Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - Insurance - P&C Underwriting to join our hybrid India-based team. You will review and verify claim information, process and adjudicate claims with accuracy, and communicate with clients, providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.

Qualifications

• Operational risk assessment experience in insurance underwriting or risk management.
• Knowledge of property and casualty insurance principles and underwriting processes.
• Strong English underwriting language skills and policy language comprehension.
• Advanced language proficiency (C1) in English for professional communication.
• Relevant actuarial, economics, finance or risk management education.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of claim information in line with policy terms and company guidelines.
• Process and adjudicate claims with timeliness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
• Communicate with clients, providers, and internal stakeholders to provide updates, resolve queries, and gather additional information.
• Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies, errors, and exceptions in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date records of all claims processed to support audit and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handoffs and seamless end-to-end claim processing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and sharing best practices for efficiency gains.
