Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - Insurance with a focus on P&C underwriting to join our claims and risk management teams. You will review, adjudicate, and document claims while coordinating with clients, providers, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant resolutions.

The role requires strong English language skills, relevant actuarial and risk-management qualifications, and a proactive approach to process improvements and knowledge sharing. Office-based in India with flex time options.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in actuarial science, economics, finance or risk management.
• Masters in statistics or related analytics is preferred.
• Industry certifications in risk, compliance or claims are advantageous.

• Review and validate claim information for accuracy, completeness and policy adherence.
• Process and adjudicate claims within defined turnaround times with guideline compliance.
• Communicate with clients, providers and internal teams for claim status and queries.
• Identify and escalate claim discrepancies or exceptions for timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of claims processed for compliance and reporting.
• Support team workflows by collaborating with peers and other departments for smooth operations.
• Participate in process training and knowledge-sharing to build domain expertise and accuracy.
