Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Specialist - F&A/FP&A to drive cost analysis, budgeting and financial planning within a hybrid work model. You will support month-end close, variance analysis, and financial reporting for global clients, leveraging Generative AI to improve insights.

The role requires strong FP&A expertise, finance degree(s), and proficiency in accounting standards, with a preference for candidates familiar with AI-enabled financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce/Economics/Finance; Master's in Finance preferred.
• Experience with FP&A processes and financial planning.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in GAAP/IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Cost accounting and standard costing.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate cost differences.
• Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile stock records.
• Prepare monthly cost and profitability reports (MIS).
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and journal entries.
