Job summary

Genpact in India (Gurgaon) is seeking an Specialist – F&A (AP) to manage end-to-end accounts payable processes in a night-shift setup. You will post transactions, process PO/Non-PO invoices, verify data, and ensure compliant AP execution while driving process improvements.

The role requires strong accounting education and hands-on experience with Oracle or SAP ERP, and familiarity with AI-enabled tools to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce/Economics/Finance or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification in Finance is a plus.
• Professional experience in accounts payable and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and post business transactions for accounts payable records.
• Process invoices with PO and Non-PO, ensuring accuracy.
• Review invoices and requisitions for payment approval.
• Maintain quality of AP processes and handle non-standard country-specific procedures.
• Verify extensions and totals, apply discounts where applicable.
• Prepare vouchers with invoice details and coding per policies.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
