Job summary

Genpact in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Specialist - F&A (Accounts Payable) to handle end-to-end AP processes, post transactions, and verify financial data for accounts payable records. You will process PO and Non-PO invoices, review requisitions for payment approval, and maintain vendor files while identifying AP improvements.

Strong analytical skills and English proficiency required. This role offers exposure to automation and data analytics tools as part of Genpact's AI-driven finance

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Master's in Finance preferred or relevant certification.
• Professional certifications in accounts payable and finance are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices and apply discounts when applicable
• Check vendor files for prior payments and assign voucher numbers
• Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per policies
• Identify and implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance
