Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Specialist - F&A - AP to join our team on a regular, night shift basis. You will handle end-to-end accounts payable activities, process PO/Non-PO invoices, verify data, and maintain supplier records while supporting AP improvements and vendor reconciliations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Commerce/Finance, proficiency in Oracle/SAP, and a mindset for AI-enabled process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance.
• Experience in accounts payable and vendor interactions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and AI-enabled processes.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for AP records.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO.
• Review invoices and requisitions for payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle non-standard country processes.
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices; apply discounts where applicable.
• Prepare vouchers with invoice details per policies.
• Identify and implement AP improvements.
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advances.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
