Marsh in Gurugram is seeking a Specialist - Claims Service (Grade C1) to manage complex claims processing in a hybrid setup. The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and ability to work within tight timelines.

You will handle FNOL submissions, coordinate with carriers and internal teams, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position offers exposure to diverse claims and opportunities for professional growth within Marsh Risk.

Responsibilities

• Processing and Submission of First Notice of Loss to the Carriers; Monitoring and filing responses from Carriers and following up as necessary.
• Liaison with Carriers & Internal Stakeholders.
• Liaise with Advocacy team to resolve all queries in order to send out the FNOL within stipulated timelines.
• Provide ideas and suggestions for improving working methods taking into account client and member experience, where appropriate implement and document to line manager for adoption across the business.
• Ensure that all statutory regulations and company procedures are followed to protect clients, colleagues and the business interest of the company.
• Appropriate usage of Marsh Speciality's systems to monitor, record and retain information.
• Demonstrate clear understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Proactively ensures compliance with regulatory and risks framework.
• Adheres to policies, guidelines and operating procedures.
• Keeps own knowledge and expertise up to date and relevant.
• Identifies and evaluates risks appropriately.

Specialist - Claims Service (Grade C1)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Service team as part of our Marsh Risk business at Marsh. This role will be based in Gurugram. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

What can you expect?

Excellent exposure to complex & diverse claims handling. Opportunity to enhance Claims knowledge and understanding & build on client management skills. Solid understanding of Insurance. As a new colleague, you will be provided with Business Overview/Insights, in-depth process training, roles & responsibilities overview, expectations of various stakeholders to make you successful in this role. Within the first 30 days, we expect you to gain good understanding of the role and requirement that it entails. Within 60 days, attain competency & have a good understanding of process and systems & finally within 90 days be able to handle the claim processing with limited support.

We will count on you to:

Client Service Management:
