Marsh is seeking a Specialist - Claims Service in Gurugram for a hybrid role requiring at least three days in the office. You will handle complex insurance claims, ensure timely FNOL submissions, and coordinate with carriers and internal teams to deliver effective client service while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on developing claims handling expertise, enhancing client management skills and contributing to a collaborative risk and insurance service team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience.
• Graduate in any stream.
• Fair understanding of Insurance Broking business and dynamics.
• Good command over spoken and written English.
• Superior comprehension and articulation skills.
• Ability to priorities and organize tasks, work within stiff timelines.

Responsibilities

• Client Service Management: Processing and submission of First Notice of Loss to Carriers, tracking responses and follow-up.
• Liaison with Carriers and internal stakeholders; coordinate with Advocacy team to resolve queries and ensure timely FNOL.
• Compliance, regulatory and procedural responsibilities; adhere to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Use Marsh systems to monitor, record and retain information and maintain up-to-date knowledge on regulatory risks.

Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Service team as part of our Marsh Risk business at Marsh. This role will be based in Gurugram. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Specialist - Claims Service (Grade C1)

What can you expect?

Excellent exposure to complex & diverse claims handling. Opportunity to enhance Claims knowledge and understanding & build on client management skills. Solid understanding of Insurance As a new colleague, you will be provided with Business Overview/Insights, in-depth process training, roles & responsibilities overview, expectations of various stakeholders to make you successful in this role. Within the first 30 days, we expect you to gain good understanding of the role and requirement that it entails. Within 60 days, attain competency & have a good understanding of process and systems & finally within 90 days be able to handle the claim processing with limited support

We will count on you to:

• Client Service Management:
• Processing and Submission of First Notice of Loss to the Carriers. Monitoring and filing responses from Carriers and following up as necessary
• Liaison with Carriers & Internal Stakeholders Liaise with Advocacy team to resolve all queries in order to send out the FNOL within stipulated timelines Provide ideas and suggestions for improving working methods taking into account client and member experience, where appropriate implement and document to line manager for adoption across the business.
• Compliance, Regulatory and Procedural Responsibilities
• Ensure that all statutory regulations and company procedures are followed to protect clients, colleagues and the business interest of the company Appropriate usage of Marsh Speciality's systems to monitor, record and retain information Demonstrate clear understanding of regulatory requirements Proactively ensures compliance with regulatory and risks framework Adheres to policies, guidelines and operating procedures Keeps own knowledge and expertise up to date and relevant Identifies and evaluates risks appropriately. Recognises how own actions impact on compliance
