Job summary

DP World is hiring Specialist Finance (Accounts Payable) to manage invoice checks, 2-way/3-way matching, and payments. You will support month-end close and reconciliations while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a finance/accounting degree, 4–6 years of AP experience, and strong English communication. Experience in shipping/logistics is preferred; join a diverse, equal-opportunity team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in process improvement to streamline AP/GL workflows.

Role Purpose:

Specialist Finance (Accounts Payable) – will be responsible for performing Accounts payable related activities like invoice checking, 2way/3way match, invoice processing, resolve exceptions, vendor payment, vendor reconciliation, bank reconciliation. This role involves close collaboration within the team and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurately accounting.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform accounts payable processes, including invoice checking, 2way/3way match, invoice processing, vendor payments, cash flow projection and vendor reconciliation, to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Timely and accurate response to vendor & internal/external stakeholder queries.
• Assist in month-end close activities by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and supporting financial statement preparation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and address inquiries related to accounts payable and general ledger activities.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline AP/GL workflows, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
• Maintain documentation and records in accordance with audit requirements and best practices.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and contribute to continuous process enhancement.
