Job summary

DP World is seeking a Sr. Associate Finance (Accounts Payable) in Maharashtra, India. The role focuses on invoice checking, 2/3-way matching with PO, and resolving vendor inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate processing and strong internal controls.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintain audit-ready records, and stay updated on accounting regulations to drive efficiency and accuracy in AP workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Effective communication (fluent in English) and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in shipping/logistics company.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable processes, including invoice checking & processing (2way & 3way), vendor reconciliation, resolve vendor queries.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices. Timely response to queries raised by internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and address inquiries related to accounts payable.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline AP/GL workflows, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
• Maintain documentation and records in accordance with audit requirements and best practices.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and contribute to continuous process enhancement.

Role Purpose

Sr. Associate Finance (Accounts Payable) – will be responsible for performing Accounts payable related activities like invoice checking 2way-3way matching with PO, resolve exceptions with internal departments, vendor reconciliation, bank reconciliation. This role involves close collaboration within the team and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurately accounting and reporting.
