Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Specialist Software Engineer to develop and support enterprise-grade analytics in a multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS environment. You’ll leverage BI tools, SQL, data modelling, cloud databases, automation, and AI to build scalable solutions that meet business needs.

You will design BI reports and dashboards, optimize data pipelines, and collaborate across Product, R&D, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related field.
• 8-11 years of experience in BI/software/data engineering.
• Strong BI, SQL, data modelling, ETL, and database expertise.
• Experience with Data Warehouse/Data Lake and SQL/NoSQL.
• Exposure to cloud, DevOps, automation, and CI/CD.
• AI-fluent with experience using AI tools/agents.
• Strong problem-solving and Agile collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, QlikView, or similar.
• Develop optimized SQL queries, data models, and reporting solutions across enterprise data warehouse, data lake, SQL, and NoSQL environments. Troubleshoot reporting issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement scalable solutions.
• Create and execute functional and end-to-end test cases to ensure solution quality and reliability. Collaborate with Product, R&D, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Contribute to automation, DevOps, cloud deployments, and continuous delivery practices. Explore and leverage AI tools and AI agents to automate tasks and improve engineering productivity.
• Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement.

As a Specialist Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and supporting enterprise-grade analytics and reporting solutions within a multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS environment. Have you got what it takes?

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institute.

8-11 years of experience in BI/software/data engineering.

Strong BI, SQL, data modelling, ETL, and database expertise.

Experience with Data Warehouse/Data Lake and SQL/NoSQL.

Exposure to cloud, DevOps, automation, and CI/CD.

AI-fluent with experience using AI tools/agents.

Strong problem-solving and Agile collaboration skills.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Microservices, and Cloud-Native technologies.
• Experience with multi-tenant architecture and performance optimization.
• Contact Center/Unified Communications domain experience.
