Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Specialist Software Engineer to design and build enterprise-grade analytics in a multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS environment. You will develop BI reports and data pipelines using industry tools and modern data platforms.

You will collaborate across Product, R&D, QA, DevOps and expect 8–11 years of BI/data engineering experience, with strong SQL, data modelling, ETL, and cloud expertise. NiCE-FLEX offers hybrid work with two days in the office and three remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related field.
• 8–11 years of experience in BI/software/data engineering.
• Strong BI, SQL, data modelling, ETL, and database expertise.
• Experience with Data Warehouse/Data Lake and SQL/NoSQL.
• Exposure to cloud, DevOps, automation, and CI/CD.
• AI-fluent with experience using AI tools/agents.
• Strong problem-solving and Agile collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, QlikView, or similar.
• Develop optimized SQL queries, data models, and reporting solutions across data warehouses and lakes; troubleshoot performance issues.
• Create and execute end-to-end test cases; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Contribute to automation, DevOps, cloud deployments, and continuous delivery; explore AI tools to boost productivity.

As a Specialist Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and supporting enterprise-grade analytics and reporting solutions within a multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS environment. You'll leverage your expertise in BI tools, SQL, data modelling, cloud databases, automation, and AI technologies to build scalable, high-performance solutions that support business and product needs.

How will you make an impact?

• Design and develop BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, QlikView, or similar.
• Develop optimized SQL queries, data models, and reporting solutions across enterprise data warehouse, data lake, SQL, and NoSQL environments. Troubleshoot reporting issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement scalable solutions.
• Create and execute functional and end-to-end test cases to ensure solution quality and reliability. Collaborate with Product, R&D, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Contribute to automation, DevOps, cloud deployments, and continuous delivery practices. Explore and leverage AI tools and AI agents to automate tasks and improve engineering productivity.
• Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement.

Have you got what it takes?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field from a reputed institute.
• 8-11 years of experience in BI/software/data engineering.
• Strong BI, SQL, data modelling, ETL, and database expertise.
• Experience with Data Warehouse/Data Lake and SQL/NoSQL.
• Exposure to cloud, DevOps, automation, and CI/CD.
• AI-fluent with experience using AI tools/agents.
• Strong problem-solving and Agile collaboration skills.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Microservices, and Cloud-Native technologies.
• Experience with multi-tenant architecture and performance optimization.
• Contact Center/Unified Communications domain experience.
