Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as South Indian cook in a restaurant, hotel, or catering service.
• Proven expertise in traditional South Indian breakfast and lunch items.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently and maintain quality.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing Traditional breakfast and Lunch items and be capable of managing kitchen operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of authentic South Indian dishes, including breakfast, and Lunch, snacks items.
• Plan daily menus and Food Preparation skills.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all food items.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen sanitation.
• Monitor food inventory and coordinate with the purchasing team for timely procurement of ingredients.
• Minimize food wastage by following proper storage and inventory management practices.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
• Maintain proper portion control and cost efficiency.

Experience

• 7+ years of Experience as a South Indian Cook / Chef in a restaurant, hotel, and catering service.
• Experience in handling high-volume food production is preferred.
