Job description

Fairdeal.Market is a rapidly growing B2B quick commerce company offering a wide range of products with delivery times as short as 20 minutes. Our mission is to ensure that every shopping bag worldwide can be filled efficiently and sustainably.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic buying manager to join our category team. This role is essential in shaping the product assortment and ensuring that we offer a compelling and diverse range of products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in buying and merchandising, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in an ecommerce environment.

Key Responsibilities
A. Category Development and Brand Onboarding
  • Expand relevant categories inQuickcomB2B business
  • Channel agnostic approach while evolving categories and assortment
  • DriveAOV > INR 10000(10x vs B2CQuickCom); Total Lines Sold per Order > 10
  • Help brands to drive non-KVI, new consumer demands, expand distribution
B. Deliver 3-5 Years GMV Plan
  • Develop long-term revenue plan on category and channel level
  • Lead Annual Business Plan, resulting into monthly S&OP Process with monthly category and brand wise GMV and CM1Plan; and actualization
  • Monthly Brand wise P&L: Target to improve CM1 > 3% through better product mix, long-term favourable procurement deals, QPS, minimize inventory expiry
C. Supplier Relationship and Inventory Management
  • TOT and long-term business collaboration with international, national, regional and D2C brands. Ensure negative working capital maintained
  • Operate with 3 days inventory level at every dark store
  • Ensure fill rate > 100% for KVI and 90% > for non-KVI
D. Customer Focus
  • Defining and deploying Customer acquisition and retention strategy; regular tactical interventions to ensure weekly customer retention > 90%
  • Focus on repeat orders per day > 3 per customer
  • Champion a customer-centric approach in all buying decisions, ensuring products meet customer expectations and preferences.
  • Utilize customer feedback and insights to refine product assortment and enhance the shopping experience.
E. Sales and Marketing Collaboration
  • Preparing and deploying quarterly market activation calendar; and pre-align with brands on co-execution and monetization
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that drive product visibility and sales.
  • Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure effective product placement and presentation.
