Job summary

Ericsson India is seeking a Technical Solution Engineer to join the GSD SDU India RAN Global Support team. You will provide expert product support, act as the final escalation point, and work with global customers to resolve complex issues, focusing on RAN, automation, and AI.)

The role involves hands-on work with 5G features, collaborating across regions to ensure network stability and service quality while adhering to SLAs and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of 5G RAN, NR NSA/SA, ESS RAN and Core Network Architecture.
• Strong understanding of RAN Protocols and Procedures.
• Ability to analyze L3, L2 and physical layer traces and errors.
• Ability to quickly understand new 5G features and functionality.
• Basic knowledge about 5G core and EPC functionalities.
• Basic understanding of RAN tuning and optimization techniques.
• All academic credentials must be from recognized institutions and are subject to verification.

Responsibilities

• Fix and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks.
• Analyze and find suitable solutions for issues reported by customers, gathering data and information about issues.
• Work with assigned tickets, using support tools according to global support processes and procedures.
• Collaborate in an international environment with colleagues, customers and suppliers to Ericsson.
• Provide solutions to customer problems according to established processes and SLAs.
• Handle Pre-emptive and Software Update services when contracted with the customer.

Join the GSD SDU India RAN Global Support team and help customers keep their critical business and operational support systems reliable, secure, and efficient.As a Technical Solution Engineer, you will provide expert product support and act as a final technical escalation point, resolving complex customer issues and contributing to product stability and service quality. You will collaborate with global customers and development teams to investigate critical issues and drive them toward resolution. The role offers hands-on exposure to RAN and telecom technologies, automation, and AI, alongside opportunities to deepen your technical expertise through continuous learning and teamwork. This team plays an important role in helping customers build resilient networks and advance their digital transformation. Alo provides opportunity to understand New 5G Features and Functionality.

What you will do:

• RAN Level /Level-3 Support Experience Required
• Minimum 3-4 years of Experience in RAN Software Support/Troubleshooting
• Fix and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks.
• Analyze and find suitable solutions for issues reported by customers, through contact with them gather data and information about any specific problem that has been reported to Ericsson.
• Work with assigned tickets, using support tools according to global support processes and procedures.
• Work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson.
• Needs to provide solutions to customer problems according to established processes and contracted Service Level Agreements.
• In case additional services are contracted with the customer the Support engineer will also handle e.g. Pre-emptive and Software Update handling.
