Introduction

You join a team of solution IT architects in the Service Center HIP (Hybrid Infrastructure Platforms). You will stand at the cradle of important digital developments. The IT architecture team builds the infrastructure and application landscape aligned with the Enterprise IT architecture and the reference architecture.

Your base location will be in Colruyt Group India, Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

• You design IT solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the client and are in line with the Enterprise IT and reference architecture. You are specialized in infrastructure and preferably can take up other IT architecture roles as well.
• You will help build our infrastructure landscape consisting of on premise and cloud applications, packaged solutions and in-house development.
• You identify IT risks and support the client in taking decisions and evaluating alternative solutions. You provide infrastructure consultancy to stakeholders.
• You develop the reference architecture according to the client's needs and in synchronization with general evolution's in the field of IT, if these can be of beneficial to the client.
• You follow up the IT realization by our expert teams as one of the co-workers in a project or program, usually by joining forces with a lead architect, occasionally taking up the lead architect role yourself.
• You contribute to architecture governance by participating in the necessary governance processes and/or by participating in existing governance boards. You are willing to take up the role of (meeting) coordinator for one of these boards.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Systems Infrastructure (Systems Engineering) and more recent 5 years of experience as an IT Architect.
• Knowledge of EA modelling languages & frameworks, such as ArchiMate and TOGAF.

Conceptual ability:

• Your designs start from a concept: your client wants to achieve a goal or has a problem.
• You listen and think with the client. Then you come up with concrete solutions.
• In everything you do, you keep the client's interests in mind. You identify IT risks, follow IT infrastructure developments, and dare to take decisions in complex situations. You give well-founded advice so that your client can make a choice.

Communicatively strong:

• You communicate fluently and know how to convince others through your involvement, assertiveness, and accessibility. You are willing to occasionally take up the role of Technical Project Leader and to take up the role of Key User where needed.
• You communicate fluently in English with your colleagues in Belgium and India.
