Solution Architect

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design, develop, and oversee technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. The role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, engineering teams, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in solution architecture, infrastructure architecture, cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, and technology consulting, with the ability to evaluate complex technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business requirements and enterprise architecture principles.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable and technically sound architecture solutions.
• Develop solution architecture, technical architecture, integration patterns, and high-level technical designs.
• Evaluate existing technology environments and recommend improvements, modernization, and optimization opportunities.
• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, security, application, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and senior leadership to understand requirements and communicate technical recommendations.
• Assess technology options, platforms, products, and architectural approaches based on business needs.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements related to scalability, availability, performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural direction throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and opportunities and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support technology transformation, modernization, cloud adoption, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Review technical designs and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and technology standards.
• Prepare architecture documentation, solution diagrams, technical specifications, and recommendations.
• Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, proof-of-concepts, and technology evaluations.
• Work effectively with distributed/global teams and multiple stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Solution Architecture / Technical Architecture / Infrastructure Architecture.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and architecture principles.
• Experience with cloud architecture and cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of application, infrastructure, networking, security, and integration concepts.
• Experience designing scalable and highly available technology solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in consulting, technology services, or large enterprise environments.
• Strong documentation and architecture design skills.
