Responsibilities

• Responsiblefor making elaborate solution (application) architectures,designing complex mission critical applications.
• Understandstrategic objectives, Colruyt Group IT reference architecture,IT Ecosystem and propose relevant feasible IT solutions.
• Communicatearchitecture to business, project managers, solution analysts,software engineers
• Ensureapplication architecture is proposed and approved by TechnologyReview Board
• Collaboratewith Program/Project Managers to advise estimations, identifydependencies and create an implementable work package, project plan.
• Doarchitecture impact analysis, technology assessments and proposesolutions to ensure quality deliverables.
• Define,implement and guard application architecture blueprint
• Advisebusiness to make right technology choices
• Proposecost effective solutions without comprising functional andnon-functional requirements.
• Developingsecured application, packaged solutions on cloud

Requirements

• 12+years’ experience in the IT industry and 3+ years in EnterpriseApplication Architecture space
• Excellentknowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Experiencein defining, steering and governing IT roadmaps in line withreference architecture.
• Experiencein assessing architectural choices and propose fit for purposesolutions. E.g Cost benefit analysis, SWOT Analysis
• ExcellentAnalytical, conceptual thinking, out of box thinking skills
• Experiencein breaking down complex problems and propose simplified solutions.
• Experiencein architecting secured solutions, understanding and managingvulnerabilities- OAuth, ISAM, Open ID
• Astrong strategic and business mindset, outstanding communicationand interpersonal skills
• Abilityto balance the long-term (“big picture”) and short-termimplications of architectural decisions
• Abilityto navigate complex IT and business organizational structure toaccomplish goals and gain buy-in
• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, presenting briefings tosenior management, business stakeholders.
• Experiencein architecting J2EE applications is advantage.
• Certification,Experience in TOGAF or any relevant architecture methodology is plus
• Knowledgeof Archimate, Mega is a plus
• Goodunderstanding of Cloud technologies is an advantage
• Workingwith European organizations, especially in retail space is an advantage
• Shouldbe open for onsite travel (Belgium)
