Job summary

Nokia's Identity and Access Management (IAM) team seeks an experienced Red Hat IdM specialist for a third-tier support role. You will solve complex IDM issues, maintain IDM components, monitor environments, and participate in upgrades while mentoring junior staff.

Join Nokia's global IAM team to renew services, leverage cloud capabilities, and collaborate with IdM T2 support and Service Delivery Management in a dynamic, inclusive workplace in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science with 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat Linux and 2+ years with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM).
• Strong hands‑on experience with IdM server installation, configuration and operations (users/groups/hosts, policies).
• Experience with LDAP, Apache, Kerberos and Linux OS fundamentals for troubleshooting.

Job Description

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team provides services for Nokia's workforce and business-to-business domains. Our diverse global team maintains over a dozen IAM-related services in legacy on-premises and modern cloud landscapes. Nokia IAM is currently focused on renewing services to leverage cloud platform capabilities. We are seeking an experienced Red Hat IdM specialist to support Nokia Identity Management services in a Third-tier support role. Solve service problems and escalated incidents.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Solve complex/technical problems in IDM services.
• Perform recurrent maintenance tasks on all IDM components.
• Monitor the current environment and take proactive actions to maintain the service.
• Participate in service upgrade and enhancement deployments.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Interface with IdM T2 support, Service Delivery Management, and surrounding subject matter experts.

Key Skills And Experience

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science with 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat Linux operating system (or other Linux operation systems) and 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM).
• Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with Red Hat IdM server and client installation and configuration and with Red Hat IdM operations (users/groups/hosts management, policies configuration, etc.).
• Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with different services on Linux operating system (certificate system, Kerberos KDC, DNS Server, NTP Server, etc.).
• Knowledge of LDAP, Apache, Kerberos & Linux OS Fundamentals for troubleshooting day-to-day issues.
• Knowledge of Bash Scripts & running basic scripts for recurring tasks.
• Exposure of Monitoring Tools (Zabbix) & proactive approach on alerts.

Nice-To-Have

• Experience in Perl or Python, Bash Scripting & OS patching.
• Experience of working on multiple Linux OS platforms like: RHEL, Rocky, Debian & Ubuntu
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms, NIS (Network Information System), identity management products.
