Job summary

Nokia in India seeks a Senior Solution Architect to lead a team in one Solution Area, drive thought leadership in customer engagement, and coordinate internal stakeholder engagements to map Nokia products to customer needs.

You will guide solution design, lead technical implementation, participate in bid preparation, and liaise with regional teams, product managers, and third‑party vendors to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution deployment and architecture.
• Experience in call flow related troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Mobile Network (2G, 3G & 4G).
• Advanced level on Linux/Solaris.
• Experience with virtualization such as VMware or OpenStack.
• Willingness to work on Automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed customer solution design & architecture and perform technical risk evaluation.
• Own technical part of bid preparation: solution design/architecture, effort estimates, scope of work, bill of material, etc.
• Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase.
• Present offered solution design/architecture to customer and verify/adapt it during realization phase
• Liaise with central and regional teams, Product Managers, Project Manager and 3rd party product managers to align requirements with Nokia solutions.

In this role, you will manage a team for one of Solution Areas and bring thought leadership in customer engagement. You will also manage Nokia's Internal Stake holder engagements with solution capabilities from multiple sources and technologies, build understanding and preference for Nokia products and solutions by influencing regional team decisions and strategic directions.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Develop detailed customer solution design & architecture and perform technical risk evaluation for overall technical solution.
• Own technical part of bid preparation: solution design/architecture, effort estimates, scope of work, bill of material, etc. and holding key role in contract negotiations to protect SI value.
• Lead the technical implementation during the delivery phase.
• Present offered solution design/architecture to customer and verify/adapt it during realization phase
• Liaise with SI Engagement Architect and other members of the regional team as well as with Product Managers, Project manager and 3rd party product manager to align customer requirements with available generic solutions, Nokia products and 3rd party products.

Key Skills And Experience

• 10+ years of experience relevant experience
• Experience in Solution Deployment and Solution Architecture Creation support.
• Experience in call flow related troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Mobile Network (2G, 3G & 4G).
• Advanced level on Operating System such as Linux or Solaris.
• Experience on networking troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark.
• Experience on virtualization - VMWare or Open stack
• Willingness to work on Automation initiatives.
• Travel availability: 50% of the time on domestic or international travels.
• Good Communication Skills.
