Job summary

Nokia IAM team seeks a Red Hat IdM specialist to support Identity Management services in a third‑tier role. Based in Bengaluru with hybrid work, you will resolve complex IDM issues and guide the team.

You will perform maintenance on IDM components, monitor the environment, and participate in upgrades, while mentoring juniors and coordinating with IdM T2 support and subject matter experts.

The role requires strong IdM, LDAP, Kerberos, DNS, and scripting skills in a global enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS with 6+ years hands-on Red Hat Linux experience.
• 2+ years hands-on Red Hat IdM experience.
• Strong IdM server/client installation and operations knowledge.
• Experience with Linux services: certificate system, Kerberos KDC, DNS, NTP.
• Knowledge of LDAP, Apache, Kerberos, and Bash scripting.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Zabbix.

Job Description:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team provides services for Nokias workforce and business-to-business domains. Our diverse global team maintains over a dozen IAM-related services in legacy on-premises and modern cloud landscapes. Nokia IAM is currently focused on renewing services to leverage cloud platform capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Red Hat IdM specialist to support Nokia Identity Management services in a Third-tier support role. Solve service problems and escalated incidents.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex/technical problems in IDM services.
• Perform recurrent maintenance tasks on all IDM components.
• Monitor the current environment and take proactive actions to maintain the service.
• Participate in service upgrade and enhancement deployments.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Interface with IdM T2 support, Service Delivery Management, and surrounding subject matter experts.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

• Bachelors degree in computer science with 6+ years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat Linux operating system (or other Linux operation systems) and 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM).
• Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with Red Hat IdM server and client installation and configuration and with Red Hat IdM operations (users/groups/hosts management, policies configuration, etc.).
• Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with different services on Linux operating system (certificate system, Kerberos KDC, DNS Server, NTP Server, etc.).
• KnowledgeofLDAP, Apache, Kerberos & Linux OS Fundamentals for troubleshootingday-to-dayissues.
• Knowledge of Bash Scripts & running basic scripts for recurring tasks.
• ExposureofMonitoring Tools (Zabbix) &proactiveapproach on alerts.

Nice-To-Have:

• Experience in Perl or Python, Bash Scripting & OS patching.
• Experience of working on multiple Linux OS platforms like: RHEL, Rocky, Debian & Ubuntu
• KnowledgeofCloud Platforms, NIS (Network Information System), identity management products.
