Job summary

Bounteous in India invites an experienced Solution/Enterprise Architect to define target-state architecture for Trade Finance and lead end-to-end architectural design across business, data, and technology layers.

You will collaborate with business, product, and technology stakeholders to map current-state, propose roadmap options, and articulate implementation milestones, ensuring alignment with enterprise guidelines.

Qualifications

• 15+ years overall, with 5+ years in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture. Location: India (preferably Gurgaon, Bangalore, or Chennai).
• Proficient in defining target-state architecture and high-level design across business, application, data, and technology.
• Domain: Proficient in Trade Finance, with deep understanding of integration to Payments and Core Banking platforms.
• Proficient in cloud-native architecture, microservices design patterns, API design, event-driven architecture, and database concepts; good understanding of monolith-to-microservices migration.
• Able to work with multiple stakeholders across functional areas, domains, and geographies; strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Preferred: TOGAF, ArchiMate; Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022.

Responsibilities

• Current-state analysis: Collaborate with business, product owners, architects, and technical SMEs to understand and document the current-state architecture, pain points, objectives, and strategy.
• Architectural strategy: Define the target-state architectural strategy for Trade Finance in line with the bank's strategy and enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Solution development: Define target-state solution architecture; design end-to-end architectural views and processes for the scope.
• Roadmap options evaluation: Document roadmap options, analyse them, and define the end-to-end roadmap for the recommended option.
• Implementation roadmap: Define the high-level implementation roadmap and document impacts to other domains, ROM, dependencies, and risks.
• Review and sign off the target state and roadmap with relevant stakeholders.
