Job summary

Comviva seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture and design of a next-generation Telecom CRM platform from Bengaluru. You will shape cloud-native microservices with high throughput, using Java/Spring Boot, and set API standards with TM Forum Open APIs.

You will collaborate across product, engineering, and business stakeholders, drive technical excellence, review designs, and mentor senior engineers while ensuring performance and security requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in an Architecture role.
• Telecom/BSS/OSS domain experience.
• Experience implementing TM Forum Open APIs.
• Experience running Kubernetes in production environments.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
• Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and IAM solutions such as Keycloak.
• Experience with performance testing and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall architecture for a large-scale Telecom CRM platform.
• Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and horizontally scalable microservices.
• Build systems capable of handling high TPS and high-volume workloads with low latency.
• Design event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka for asynchronous communication.

• Define database architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization strategies using MySQL.

• Define security, observability, logging, monitoring, and resiliency standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing highly scalable, high-throughput, cloud-native microservices capable of handling large transaction volumes.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of Java-based backend systems, event-driven architecture, TM Forum Open APIs, and modern frontend technologies. You will work closely with product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define architecture, establish engineering standards, and drive technical excellence across multiple teams.
