Job summary

Nagarro is seeking an Associate Distinguished Engineer to lead enterprise and cloud architecture across eCommerce platforms and legacy systems. The role demands deep expertise in .NET, microservices, API-first design, and strong Azure experience to drive scalable, secure solutions.

You will mentor teams, guide modernization journeys, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical roadmaps across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 15–19 years of experience in software development and technology architecture.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise/Technology/Solution Architect with a focus on cloud architecture and generative AI.
• Deep expertise in designing large-scale enterprise apps and eCommerce platforms.
• Strong hands-on with C#/.NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC, Web API.
• Extensive knowledge of microservices, event-driven, API-first and SOA architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; AWS a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, NoSQL, caching and messaging systems.
• Solid DevOps practices, CI/CD, IaC, and containerization (Docker/K8s).
• Experience integrating ERP/CRM and other enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of EA frameworks, modernization, and legacy transformation.
• Ability to evaluate tech stacks and architectural patterns to meet business goals.
• Leadership in architecture reviews, assessments, and POCs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong leadership and mentoring for development teams across SDLC.
• Experience in effort estimation, risk assessment, and roadmapping.
• Familiarity with security, governance, and coding standards.
• Nice to have: retail/eCommerce domain, cloud migration programs, and related certifications.

• Define application, integration, security, cloud, and data architecture standards.
• Drive modernization to cloud-native microservices architectures.
• Ensure governance, security, and compliance in all designs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through the SDLC.
• Participate in effort estimation, sizing, risk assessment, and roadmapping.
• Support pre-sales, proposals, and customer presentations when required.

Requirements

• 15–19 years of overall experience in software development and technology architecture.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Technology Architect, or Solution Architect with a strong focus on cloud architecture and generative AI.
• Deep expertise in designing and architecting large-scale enterprise applications and eCommerce platforms.
