Job summary

2coms in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Site Engineer – Solar EPC (Rooftop & Ground-Mounted C&I projects) to supervise on-site installation, ensure quality and safety, and deliver progress as per design and plan.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and labour, read drawings, manage materials, and support pre-commissioning and client inspections, with a focus on preventing delays and achieving snag-free handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil.
• 2–5 years for Diploma holders, 1–3 years for Engineers.
• Hands-on exposure to solar project installation (rooftop or ground-mount).
• Good knowledge of solar electrical systems (DC, AC, LT/HT interface).
• Ability to read drawings (civil, structural, electrical).
• Strong problem-solving and site communication.
• Adherence to site schedule (actual vs. planned progress).
• Quality compliance (snag-free execution).
• Material reconciliation accuracy.
• Client/PM satisfaction with site execution.

Responsibilities

Position: Site Engineer – Solar EPC (Rooftop & Ground-Mounted C&I Projects)

Reporting To: Project Manager

Role Objective

To supervise and execute on-site installation of solar EPC projects, ensuring quality,

safety, and timely progress as per design and project plan.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Site Supervision & Execution
  • Oversee daily installation activities (module mounting, structure erection, cabling, inverter & LT/HT panels, earthing, etc.).
