Job summary

Beyond Border Consultants seeks a detail-driven Project Coordinator to lead on-site execution for an 80 MW solar project in India. You’ll track progress, manage contractor communications, and ensure compliance with MNRE/SECI guidelines.

Work closely with engineering and procurement to ensure timely delivery of modules, inverters, and civil works. Monitor safety and IS 16009 compliance, report to the Project Manager, and engage with regulators during grid interconnection.

Qualifications

• Solar project coordination experience and ability to manage on-site activities.
• Experience with MNRE/SECI guidelines is a plus.
• Understanding of IS 16009 and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day site activities for the 80 MW solar project—tracking progress against milestones, resolving bottlenecks, and managing contractor communications.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including daily logs, inspection reports, material tracking sheets, and compliance records aligned with MNRE/SECI guidelines.
• Partner with engineering and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of solar modules, inverters, and civil works materials to site.
• Facilitate coordination between contractors, site engineers, and regulatory authorities for statutory clearances, O&M handover, and grid interconnection.
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance at site—conducting weekly audits, tracking incident reports, and ensuring adherence to IS 16009 and OSHA standards.
• Report project status, risks, and delays to Project Manager via weekly dashboards and participate in client/developer review meetings.

About the Opportunity

A fast-growing renewable energy consultancy operating across India’s utility-scale solar sector, we partner with developers, IPPs, and EPC firms to deliver bankable, grid-connected solar projects—from permitting and land acquisition to commissioning and operations. We’re currently scaling our team to execute a flagship 80 MW solar project, requiring a detail-driven Project Coordinator to drive on-site execution, compliance, and stakeholder alignment.
