ENGIE India is seeking a Solar Performance Analysis expert in Pune to maximize solar asset output through advanced testing, analytics, and digital tooling. You will drive site-level improvements, automate KPI reporting, and monitor a broad portfolio remotely using modern analytics platforms.

The role requires 8–10 years in renewable energy, strong expertise in PVSYST, Python and BI tools, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Collaboration across distributed teams is valued.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 8–10 years of renewable energy experience (solar and wind).
• Proficient in PVSYST, Python, and analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV technologies, remote monitoring platforms, and field testing.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Reengineering principles.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical insights to diverse audiences.
• Exposure to geographically distributed teams and international project environments is a plus.

• Prepare energy yield assessments, PR analysis, and loss quantification to drive site-level improvements.
• Lead the automation of performance reports and KPIs across the organization.
• Monitor and analyze 100% of the plant portfolio remotely using advanced analytics platforms.
• Develop and improve monitoring applications, SOPs, and digital tools for performance tracking.
• Benchmark maintenance performance against OEMs and service providers on technical grounds.
• Contribute to technical papers, design of experiments, and patent applications in solar performance.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct and validate advanced field tests, including drone thermography, IV curve tracing, EL tests, flash tests, and power quality analysis.

What You Bring

• A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech).
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in renewable energy, covering solar and wind domains.
• Hands-on expertise in PVSYST, Python, and advanced analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV technologies, remote monitoring platforms, and field testing methodologies.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Reengineering principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical insights to diverse audiences.
• Exposure to geographically distributed teams and international project environments is a plus.
