Job summary

HypTechie in Bengaluru/Basavanagudi is seeking a Software Test Engineer with DO-178C and IV&V experience to contribute to safety-critical embedded software testing. The role involves hands‑on testing, documentation, and certification support.

You will prepare testing artifacts, develop and execute unit/integration/functional/system tests, and perform code reviews for MISRA C. Proficiency with LDRA/Coverity and Linux toolchains is required.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech with First Class in Electronics, CS, or EE.
• 4–5 years of hands-on software testing and validation.
• Strong DO-178C knowledge and processes.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience with IV&V activities.
• LDRA and Coverity testing tools expertise.
• Familiarity with VxWorks, GNU Tools, and Linux.
• Experience with Safety Level B or higher preferred.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain all required software testing artifacts as per DO-178C standards.
• Develop and execute test cases and procedures for unit, integration, functional, and system testing.
• Conduct code reviews and perform static analysis for MISRA C compliance.
• Perform software testing using LDRA / Coverity tools.
• Support certification documentation and coordinate with certifying agencies.
• Review and verify software artifacts, producing detailed review reports per DO-178C.

Required Skills & Qualifications
