Job Title: Model-Based Verification Tester (SIL Tester)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Integration / Model-Based Verification Tester with strong interest in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing using MATLAB/Simulink. The role involves verification of control and software models and validation of generated code before integration.
Responsibilities
- SIL Test Design & Execution: develop test cases based on system requirements, SRS, and software architecture.
- Execute tests on SIL environments (MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE VEOS, Vector CANoe SIL, ETAS).
- Perform functional, regression, performance, robustness, and interface testing on SIL models.
- Validate algorithm accuracy against expected outputs; analyze mismatches, log failures, and raise defects with detailed evidence.
- Test Automation: create automated test scripts using Python, CAPL, MATLAB scripts, Jenkins or CI/CD pipelines; maintain automated SIL regression suites.
- Model & Software Verification: verify plant models, control algorithms, and software logic; validate model behavior across environmental parameter variations, faults, and corner cases; ensure interface consistency (signals, ports, data types).
- Requirements & Traceability: convert system requirements into testable scenarios; maintain traceability via tools like DOORS, PTC.
- Defect Analysis & Reporting: reproduce issues in SIL, analyze traces, identify root causes; prepare detailed test reports and KPIs (coverage, defect trends).
- Collaborate closely with developers, feature owners, and calibration teams.
Preferred Skills
- Strong interest to upskill in MATLAB, Simulink, and Model-Based Design (MBD).
- Good knowledge of dSPACE ControlDesk and AutomationDesk.
- Exposure to HIL testing, debugging logs, traces, and signal flows.
- Automotive / Aerospace domain experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 or ASPICE is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR is an added advantage.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, calibration, systems).
