Job summary

TRU is seeking a Software Tester to join our team and contribute to functional, regression, and UAT testing for web and mobile applications. You will work in an Agile environment, performing API tests with Postman, and maintaining basic automation scripts using Selenium.

We value strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with developers, BAs, and product owners throughout sprints. This full-time, office-based role is positioned in Mohali, India.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of manual testing experience in web and mobile apps.
• Solid understanding of STLC, SDLC, Agile and defect lifecycle.
• Basic SQL knowledge and exposure to automation (Selenium).
• Experience with API testing (Postman) and defect tracking tools (JIRA/Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA/Azure DevOps.
• Perform API testing with Postman.
• Execute and maintain basic automation scripts (Selenium/TestNG/Cucumber).
• Support performance and security testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product owners during sprints.
• Mentor junior QA team members.

Position Overview :-

We are looking for a Software Tester with strong manual testing skills and basic knowledge of SQL and automation. The role also offers exposure to performance and security testing in an Agile environment.

Job Location and Address:-

This requirement is Full Time and working from the office only. The Incumbent is required to work in the following location:

• Basic hands-on with SQL database.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium).
• Exposure to performance and security testing concepts.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:-

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git).
• Mobile testing exposure (Appium).
• AI Tools exposure for functional and non-functional testing.
• ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.
