Job summary

Letitbex AI, Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Software Test Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on UI/API automation to help build robust testing frameworks for enterprise-grade AI solutions. The role requires testing across web, backend, API, messaging, data and device-connected workflows, plus collaboration with developers in an Agile environment.

You will develop UI automation with Playwright and Cypress, validate REST APIs, and contribute to service-level automated tests within CI/CD pipelines,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5 to 6 years of relevant software testing experience with practical UI/API automation, integrated-system validation, defect investigation and Agile product-delivery exposure.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and acceptance criteria; prepare clear functional, negative, boundary, integration and regression test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain UI and end-to-end automation using Playwright and/or Cypress; contribute to API and service-level automated test.
• Test web, backend, API, messaging, data and device-connected workflows; verify data consistency.
• Document defects with steps, logs, screenshots; retest fixes and verify end-to-end workflows.
• Run automated tests in CI/CD pipelines; support failure analysis in Docker and Kubernetes test environments.
• Collaborate with developers and senior testers to clarify behavior and improve regression coverage.
• Maintain test cases, automation assets, defect records and quality documentation.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review requirements and acceptance criteria and prepare clear functional, negative, boundary, integration and regression test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain UI and end-to-end automation using Playwright and/or Cypress and contribute to API and service-level automated test
• Test web, backend, API, messaging, data and device-connected workflows, including navigation, state changes, error handling and data consistency.
• Reproduce and document defects with clear steps, logs, screenshots or traces; retest fixes and verify impacted workflows end to end.
• Run automated tests in CI/CD pipelines and support failure analysis in Docker and Kubernetes test environments.
• Collaborate with developers and senior testers to clarify behavior, Improve testability and maintain effective regression coverage.
• Maintain test cases, automation assets, defect records and quality documentation
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline; equivalent demonstrable experience may be considered.

5 to 6 years of relevant software testing experience with practical UI/API automation, integrated-system validation, defect investigation and Agile product-delivery exposure.

Software Testing:

• Hands-on software testing experience across functional, integration, regression and end-to-end validation for enterprise or product software.

API Testing:

• Experience validating REST APIs using automation or API tools, including requests, responses, status codes, error conditions and data verification.
• Ability to test Angular/TypeScript applications supported by C#/.NET and/or Python services and understand frontend-to-backend interactions.

Data storage/validation:

• Working knowledge of MongoDB
• Working knowledge to file or object storage such as MinIO.
• Familiarity with automated test execution in CI/CD pipelines, Docker concepts and basic Kubernetes troubleshooting such as pods, logs and service status

Security fundamentals:

• Awareness of cyber security principles, authentication, authorization, user sessions, role-based access and safe handling of test data and credentials.

Ways of working:

• Experience in Agile teams and good working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for test tracking, defects and documentation.

Desired Skills

• Exposure to real-time testing of asynchronous or service integrations using SignalR protocols.
• Exposure to performance, resilience and recovery testing for distributed applications and long-running workflows.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes basics and ELK, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Familiarity with Keycloak, role-based access control and token/session lifecycle testing.
• Aware of release security practices such as vulnerability scanning, dependency checks and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) validation.
• Knowledge in testing WebGL visualizations, Storybook component
• Exposure to scientific, electron-microscopy, medical-device, laboratory, industrial-instrumentation or other device-driven software.
