Job summary

Northern Trust in Pune seeks a Senior Software Engineer Analyst to support and enhance multiple web applications and services. You will work with Java 8/17, Spring Boot, and microservices to deliver reliable solutions in a fast-changing technology environment.

The role requires collaboration with development, business support, and IT teams, a solid SDLC, knowledge of DevOps practices, and the ability to write tests and participate in DR exercises.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SDLC and working with microservices and APIs.
  • Basic understanding of UI development.
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery, ServiceNow, RCA and postmortems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the development team, business support, end users, and other IT personnel to support and implement end to end solutions.
  • Use basic programming knowledge to create or modify scripts and programs.
  • Continuously looks for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution.
  • Mentor and coach others on the team.
  • Support existing software systems and hook in applications to data sources
  • Write unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks
  • Create and maintain Disaster Recovery plans and participate in DR Testing
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to understand the application that is being transferred to support.

Furthermore: You bring 2 -3 years of experience with Java 8 / 17 Oracle PL/SQL Spring Boot, Spring batch and Spring Cloud Pivotal Cloud Foundry Unix Azure Dynatrace Service Now Knowledge: Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Working with microservices and API. Basic understanding of UI development. Disaster Recovery, ServiceNow, Incident-Change-Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Postmortems
