Job summary

Northern Trust in Pune is seeking a Senior Lead to support Wealth Management applications and data platforms. You will partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement and operate end-to-end data solutions, and mentor peers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include incident management, driving cost-efficient fixes, integrating with diverse tech stacks, creating scripts, and participating in DR planning and knowledge sharing with the team.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL and platform integration.
  • Hands-on with Azure cloud services and modern data pipelines.
  • Strong SQL/PL-SQL and Unix/Linux knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with development, business support and end users to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Integrate with multiple tech teams and understand application flows.
  • Proactively address incidents and implement long-term, cost-efficient fixes.
  • Follow up incidents across teams and meet SLA targets.
  • Create or modify scripts and programs using programming knowledge.
  • Continuously seek better solutions and challenge the status quo.
  • Mentor team members.
  • Support existing software and hook applications to data sources.
  • Create and maintain Disaster Recovery plans and participate in DR testing.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a partner on the Wealth Management Application Support team, you will be an integral part of one of our nimble, cross-functional teams innovating an entire industry. We cherish and nourish our diverse and inclusive culture and welcome you to help us further grow our community.

As a Senior Lead, You Will
  • Partner with the development team, business support and end users to support and implement end to end solutions.
  • Integrate with different tech teams and understand the different applications and application flow.
  • Proactive on addressing the incidents raised on the queue and finding the long-term, cost-efficient solutions for them.
  • Follow up on the incidents across different teams and look for a resolution within the SLA of the incident.
  • Use the programming knowledge to create or modify scripts and programs.
  • Constantly look for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution by not being afraid of challenging the status quo.
  • Mentor and coach others on the team.
  • Support existing software systems and platforms and hook in applications to applicable data sources
  • Create and maintain Disaster Recovery plans and participate in DR Testing
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to understand the application that is being transferred to support.
